MY STORY

I have always been fascinated by the body and how nutrition plays a pivetol role in maintaining health. I started by studies by earning a bachelors degree in Biology from St. Lawrence University in 2014. From there, I went on to study at Boston University where I earned my Masters Degree in Nutrition Sciences in 2019. Over the past three years, I have gained invaluable experience as a Clinical Registered Dietitian working at some of the best hospitals in Massachusetts. I found it rewarding yet challenging working with patients who were already very sick and my nutrition interventions often felt like I was putting a band-aid on the problem instead of getting to the root cause of problem...

That's when a good friend of mine introduced me to the world of Functional Nutrition and everything just made more sense. Instead of giving a medication for a symptom (ex. acne, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, gas/bloating etc), a functional nutrition approach helps to uncover the root cause (ex. mineral imbalances, dysbiosis, leaky gut etc) to treat the whole individual. I am in the process of studying to become a Board Certified Integrative and Functional Dietitian with the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA) and I could not be more excited to share what I have learned with you!
